Burgundy rippled paper covered card box with slide lid, label card stuck down on front Little Jack Horner with black lettering. 51 cards lacking 1, colour nursery characters each card in 13 sets of 4, red playing card backs with rounded corners. Box : slight snags lid at side edges, slight marks label else very clean with good shape. Cards : many are creased though clean. Very creased cards in quite attractive box, perhaps only the box and replacement odd cards are useful. VG/G+ box & cards.

A FULL set of 64 comic "Snap" playing cards in their original box, this set was dated from the address of when the company moved there in 1913, the illustrations depicted of the various characters are taken from the 1870's sets, this set is very good, no creases, stains or softness, the lidded sliding box has advertising front and rear and a faint rubber stamp stating "Registered Copyright, Titles and Design". the box is handled and slight loss to waxed paper in places, small split just started at corner on one edge. Nice early set by the original game inventor company.
