Paper Back with Illust. Cover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Cover Illlustrated (illustrator). Paperback edition in good or better condition, showing light edge and surface wear consistent with age and handling; a clean, solid, and entirely readable copy of this increasingly scarce vintage pulp title. The Baroness No. 6: Sonic Slave by Paul Kenyon plunges readers into the high-octane world of Cold War espionage, where the Baroness; an alluring and deadly superspy; faces one of her most dangerous missions yet. Set against a blistering desert backdrop, the story centers on a sinister plot involving experimental sonic weaponry capable of controlling minds and destroying enemies with invisible force. As rival agents, shadowy organizations, and shifting alliances converge, the Baroness must outmaneuver a ruthless adversary in a tense duel of technology and seduction, where betrayal lurks at every turn and survival depends on wit, nerve, and daring. Written in the fast-paced, sensational style that defined 1970s spy pulp fiction, this novel delivers intrigue, action, and a dash of provocative flair, making it a compelling example of the era's popular paperback originals. A wonderful collectible for fans of vintage espionage fiction, pulp paperbacks, and strong female spy protagonists; an entertaining and evocative addition to any mid-century or genre fiction collection, and a great gift for lovers of classic spy thrillers, even if that's for yourself. Please send us a note if you have any questions. Thank you. Book.

Seven issues, printed in black and white on newsprint (8 1/2" x 11") and bound with staples. Each issue is generally 20-25 pages. All are signed and dated by guitarist, singer, and songwriter Lee Ranaldo (b.1956), a co-founder of Sonic Youth. The complete run of Sonic Youth's fanzine, released in part by the band and billed as the official zine of its fan club. Includes drawings of the band, interviews, tour dates, insider news, and an order form for Sonic Youth merchandise. Laid into the first issue is a green quarter sheet piece of paper that serves as the Sonic-Death membership; this example is numbered 0425. In the second issue, fans learned of a special free concert scheduled in New York's Central Park with Sun Ra. Issue 1 provided an inside look at the band's business through the reprint of a letter, with names and addresses blacked out, to a record distribution company that was failing to pay royalties. For the final issue, Thurston Moore supplied nearly three pages of record reviews. Sonic Youth emerged in 1981 from the experimental no wave art and music scene in New York before evolving into a more conventional rock band and becoming a prominent member of the American noise scene. The band was founded by Kim Gordon (bass, vocals, guitar), Thurston Moore (guitar, vocals), and Lee Ranaldo (guitar, vocals), who remained together until the group disbanded in 2011 following the separation and subsequent divorce of Gordon and Moore. All issues are in very good condition with some light toning around the edges. OCLC records just two incomplete holdings, at the Museum of Modern Art and the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Neuware -Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articlesavailable from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Sonic Death is alive album by Sonic Youth, released in 1984. It contains live recordingsfrom 1981 to 1983. Many of the songs on this album appear only asfragments, often with no breaks between. Most of the songs are liveversions of songs from Sonic Youth's first 3 releases, Sonic YouthConfusion Is Sex and the Kill Yr Idols EP. The album was originallyreleased as a cassette on Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label and waslater released in the cassette and CD formats by Blast First and SST. Itis currently out of print. Because Sonic Youth use many differentalternative tunings, but couldn't afford to travel with separateinstruments for each tuning in the band's early years, members of theband can be heard changing tunings between songs.VDM Verlag, Dudweiler Landstraße 99, 66123 Saarbrücken 64 pp. Englisch.
