First Edition bound in blue covers with black stamping on the upper cover and spine, in a dust jacket with foxing/soiling, and edge-wear -contents are bright, but with foxing to the fore-edge and outer edge of the pages - Signed by A. M. Lightner on the front free end-page, but for some reason the Signature and Inscription were covered with paper tape by a previous owner.

First Edition. This book is a first edition. this book measures approximately 8.25" x 5.5" with 190 numbered pages. This book is in very good plus condition. Minor bumping to both ends of spine. Minor scuffing and staining on both boards. Previous owner's name on tape and crossed out on front endpaper. Small stain top edge of rear pastedown and endpaper. "The Space Ark" is written by A. M. Lightner and tells the story of ranger Johnny Dinkum and others as they round up some of the rare animals of the planet Shikai, and set off in a rocket ship in search of another planet where they can start a new herd.
