Modern name-address label on front pastedown; old pencil inscription on ffep; antiquarian ink inscription on ffly with ink carry-through to frontis; antiquarian ink to rp; rfep removed but impressions from its antiquarian ink notes carrying through to preceding two flyleaves. Boards and spine worn, scattered foxing throughout, offsetting to the engravings and title pages, and tears at the top of the preliminaries, but overall still very good with the binding sound and tight and the gilt on the spine remaining bright. Reprints the entire run of *The Spectator* No. 1 through No. 635.
