Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (8s 6d). Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), few small (approx. 1cm) tears, creasing/rubbing to edges, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, few marks, patchy browning (including to spine), odd small mark/spots of foxing to reverse (white side), pushing/bumping to corners, creasing/foxing/browning to front/back inner flaps, odd spots of foxing and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with light crease to spine (book has been read), minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd small mark, odd small bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Some spine lean. PAges are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top of pages dyed blue have the odd small mark/scratch/minor foxing. Rough cut page bottoms. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges and bottoms. Occasional small mark/spots of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.…
