She spent her final years in Oxford, having sought exile in the United Kingdom from Germany in 1935.Loosely inserted are two typewritten poems by Pasternak-Slater, one untitled, the other titled 'Attempted Escape'. Both were written in July 1981.A first edition anthology from the Mitre Press, containing verses by living poets.
