First Edition
Softcover. Condition: Good. First edition, "Fischer Edition." Quarto. Two nested bifolia making eight pages. Outer bifolium separated along the fold, toning to the exterior, publisher stamp on the front cover, and light edgewear, still a complete and good or better copy. For voice and piano. Plate imprint, "J.F.&B. - 5113-3." Features a sample of "Happy Day: A Spiritual from 'To the Ladies,'" by George S. Kaufman, Marc Connelly, and Zoel Parenteau. The back cover is designed to look like the front cover to "Happy Day," making the piece a little confusing upon first glance. *OCLC* locates only three holdings and it appears to be equally scarce in the trade.
