DJ is yellowed with quite a bit of chipping and tearing and has been put in a protective sleeve to prevent further damage. Front flap states this is a Book-of-the-Month Club (BOMC) selection. Gray pap…er covered boards with blue cloth the spine. Exterior shows minor edge fade and corner bumps but is overall clean except for bottom pageblock edge which has a very small grain of rice sized brown spot. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Pages are toned due to age some minor spotting is present. Signed by the author on the front end page along with the signature of Elizabeth L. Shoemaker. The same page shows were a price was once penciled in the corner and then later raised. No other handwriting noted in book, no bookplates present. Very uncommon to find signed, especially being a book club edition. Signed by Author(s).
