First Edition; First Printing. 21 paintings plus 1 duplicate for a total of 22 paintings; paintings have slight toning, 2-page booklet has slight toning and couple tiny creases; slipcase has some rubbing along edges and some small creases, mild toning to interior ; 23 pages.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Ralph McQuarrie (illustrator). 1st Edition. Upper edge of cardboard container shows some wear. Factory shrink wrap is still intact but is open along upper edge. The interior prints are all in FINE condition. Unbound set of 21 11" x 14" prints as issued, title page and introductory page all housed in a black stiff paper illustrated cover. The prints are suitable for framing.

Prints are presented in an 11" x 14" format including the actual print and an explanation of what they represent. The Prints are housed in stiff paper illustrated slipcase with a smallish amont of wear. Several of the prints have a nudge to the corners caused by edge wear of the slipcase with no damage to the actual prints just the very corners of the border surrounding each print. This set also includes the cover sheet which was issued with the set that identifies each print and also identifies this set as a first edition. This set belongs in your Star Wars collection. Set of 20 prints depicting the third Star Wars movie Return of the Jedi. The prints are 11 x 15½ and suitable for framing. The prints are housed in a stiff paper illustrated slipcase which still has the cardboard insert they were issued with. The slipcase has rubbing wear, edge wear, some creasing and some foxing to the reverse side. The condition of the slipcase has resulted in a nudge to some corners of the prints which have resulted in minor damage to the edge of the borders but do not affect the prints in anyway. This set also includes an insert that explains what each of the prints depicts and also identifies this set as an actual first edition. Star Wars item #30961. Ephemera.

Twenty large color prints with cover page captioning each image. In stiff, full color wrap with a locking cover. A fine, bright copy. By this time the franchise knew of the wide appeal of its incredible production artwork. Ballantine had won the license and issued several fine art books, along with this portfolio, offering an inside look at the artist's visions that were turned into the filmall pre-internet.
