One of ten copies, each titled and signed by lithographer Ashley Lilley, RIBA, in artist's pencil to the lower margin, edition hand-numbered to the right margin. Image size 30 x 22 inches, ready for framing. Fine / as new. The photograph upon which this is based was an RCA Records promotional shot for 'Starman' circa 1972, later included as an ephemeral item in the bootleg album set 'Ladies & Gentlemen: David Bowie Live at Santa Monica'. This 'portrait' version is a close-up image of Bowie's face; a larger work was simultaneously issued, based on the full photo. It was available in three colours; original (white), sunset (orange) and moonlight (silver). Signed.
