Pamphlet. First Edition. 8 pages. 4 by 7 inches. Poem about contemporary poets: Antin, Economou, Eshleman, MacLow, Owens, Rothenberg, Schwerner, and Wakoski. This version with the list of poets on the cover, soon removed. First edition, first issue. Fine in stapled wrappers.
First Edition. [8] pp., stapled into printed wrappers. The "unpublished edition." A memoir of a particular literary milieu in late-50s New York, commisioned by John Martin as a free gift to be included with copies of books by George Economou, Jerome Rothenberg, Armand Schwerner, and Diane Wakoski being published by Black Sparrow. This version, whose cover listed the names of eight poets (the aforementioned, as well as Kelly, David Antin, Clayton Eshleman, and Rochelle Owens), was suppressed when several of those listed objected. The pamphlet was redesigned and reprinted, and the original edition destroyed, though copies are perhaps not as uncommon as once thought. 12mo.
