Add to basketNo Binding. Condition: Very Good. Lionel Edwards (illustrator). An unusual coloured print and one we have not seen before. Image size 26cms by 18cms with wide border. no printed title. Similar and possibly in the same series as 'A Moorland Gallop'. This is unlikely to be a book illustration as it is too large with margins. Printed signature lower left. Very decorative and worthy of further research. Supplied rolled in tube. Lionel Edwards (1878-1966) Regarded as one of the principal 20th century sporting artists.He studied at the School of Animal Painting in Kensington. He worked for the 'Graphic' and 'Punch' before the First World War. Edwards painted a series of pictures of named hunts which were produced as limited edition prints.
