"The convergent point method was first applied to the Hyades cluster by Boss (1908), using the proper motions of 41 suspected cluster members supplemented by three radial velocities. The classical convergent-point method was further developed and discussed by Smart (1938), Brown (1950), and others" (please ask for source).

White dust jacket with blue titles, not price clipped, spine is faded, top and base of spine, corners are lightly worn, with a few small chips, very small tear to middle of spine near front hinge, a few light spots, top edge lightly worn, Very Good.
