Issued August, 1906, first edition, very good light blue cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) with gilt letter and decoration to cover and spine shows some lean to spine, bit of caving to same, mild rubbing and soil to covers, touch of soil and stain to page edges, occasional spot stain to text block, tiny tear at bottom of front inner hinge, along with some other mild trace wear. 336 pages with half a dozen illustrations. Solid copy of this work from the noted American "dime novelist.".

Blue turquoise publisher's cloth decorated in gilt on the cover and spine (designed by Decorative Designers in the style of Lee Thayer). Owner's inscription dated 1907 and later owner's signature on front free endpaper. Joints and corners a little bumped and rubbed, front hinge partly split, very good, lacking the dustwrapper.
