Hardcover, cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good-. Book Club Edition. FIRST Edition thus (Book Club Edition) of Murder International, an omnibus volume containing three complete mystery novels by Agatha Christie: So Many Steps to Death; Death Comes as the End; and Evil Under the Sun. Publisher's original red cloth hardcover with black lettering to spine. Binding sound and square. Clean, unmarked pages. Deckled fore-edge. Publisher's red tint to top edge remains visible. Contents (3 novels in one volume): So Many Steps to Death, Death Comes as the End, Evil Under the Sun. Condition: Original dust jacket present, unclipped, though with a large chip to the spine (bottom third missing) and edge wear; now enclosed in an archival-quality Mylar protective cover. Despite the jacket loss, the volume remains a solid and presentable example of this Christie omnibus. Priced accordingly to reflect dust-jacket loss. Collector's Note: Murder International is a classic Agatha Christie omnibus volume, bringing together three full-length novels spanning different phases of her career, including the enduring favorite Evil Under the Sun. Such multi-title Christie volumes were widely read but are increasingly appreciated by collectors for their breadth and period presentation. While Book Club Editions are distinct from first trade editions, they remain collectible in their own right?particularly when complete and well preserved?offering an accessible entry point into vintage Christie collecting and a representative example of mid-20th-century mystery publishing. Additional pictures are gladly provided on request. Book will be carefully wrapped and securely boxed for safe handling during transit, with international shipping available. There is a little fading at the top of the spine where the jacket is damaged and the rear panel has two small surface marks. Otherwise the boards have only a slight spine lean and light bumping to the bottom corners. Page edges browned with a one inch patch of spotting to the top edges and a few scattered spots to the fore edges. The first few pages have a little creasing and tiny tears to the top of the edges near the spine. One inch creases to the bottom corners of two pages and the pages are slightly browned but otherwise unmarked. The jacket has chipping and creasing at the top and bottom of the spine where there is a little loss. There is extensive tearing along the right edge of the front panel which has several small pieces of tape to reinforce it - I am not sure whether it was actually completely detached or not before the tape was applied. The front panel is also quite heavily creased. The rear panel has closed tears to all four corners. First printing.
