The first collection was published in in 1813 by The Juvenile Library, the London endeavour of William Godwin, widower of Moore's governess-mentor Mary Wollstonecraft. The book's popularity resulted in Moore providing original material for subsequent editions, the last (and fourteenth) of which appeared in 1868. Size: 8vo.
