Blair with every good wish from J K Davis, Melbourne Sept 3rd 1923' John Hamilton Blair was a Scottish mariner who served as chief officer aboard the SY Aurora, under John King Davis, during the final Antarctic voyage of the Australasian Antarctic expedition. [The Blair Islands in Antarctica were named after him by Douglas Mawson]. Also signed by J Hamilton Blair. Some use & boards rather dull o/w a nice tight copy of an important association copy.
