Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Published by James Nisbet & Co. No author is named though the author is described as being the same as that of Little Black Mingo and The Teasing Spider so one assumes Helen Bannerman. The Teasing Monkey was her 7th book. Undated but presumed 1910 and A First Edition. Size: 13 x 9 cms or 5 x 3…1/2 inches. Page number: 143 with the images and the writing being printed on one side of the paper only. Hardcover. Buff coloured paper boards with black lettering and the image of a monkey pasted on the front. Writing on one page with a full page picture opposite throughout. Condition: Very Good. The cover is generally lightly worn. A part of the word Monkey is missing from the front board. The title page has been neatly secured from the reverse side using paper but the hinge is cracked at this point. The binding is otherwise secure. The pages within are occasionally marked but generally clean. Helen Bannerman (illustrator).
