Condition: Fair. 1937. No edition remarks. 262 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are mildly tanned with visible foxing, heavy in places. Heavy cracking to gutters. Pencil inscription to pastedowns and endpapers. Boards have mild edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Mild tanning to spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Book has forward lean. Boards are notably warped. Mild water stains and droplets to front board.

UK hardback first impression. Good overall though quite well read with some grubbiness to binding. Webbing showing a little at page 6 and a few creased corner tips, but a solid copy. No jacket.

Cloth. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. first edition - a scarce travel book by the British aristocratic novelist - [ pseud. of E. E. M. DASHWOOD ] - a strange place seen through her filter - name else a vg bright copy w/o dj - 262 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Black cloth boards with area of white water marking to front, shelf wear and bumping to corners. Gilt on spine is bright but slight tears to top and bottom of spine.
