With a warm inscription from Mackenzie to Ralph Pinker in the year of publication.~Pinker was one of the sons of James B. Pinker, founder of the Pinker Publishing Company in London. Ralph Pinker was later arrested and imprisoned for embezzlement, and the Pinker Publishing Company was no more. An interesting association. Very Good binding / no dust jacket.

Both volumes are good overall with some spotting. Volume one is a 6th impression from 1914. Volume two is a first edition but with an interesting binding error. Instead of pages 1025-1039 there is a repeat of pages 657-672. No jackets. Inscribed by Author(s).
