Some stains and wear. Inscribed by the author: 'Frau Dr. van Bork-Feltkamp/ mit vorzüglichen Hochschätzung/ von G. Ngowyang'. The author (1898-1954) was an assistant at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Brain Research in Berlin from 1932-1934. After this, he was professor of histology and neuroanatomy a.o. in Nanking, China. A.J. van Bork-Feltkamp was a Dutch anthropologist. Very rare with dedication.

Ngowyang'. The author (1898-1954) worked as assistant at the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Brain Research in Berlin from 1932-1934. After this, he was professor of histology and neuroanatomy a.o. in Nanking, China. Prof. C.U. Ariëns Kappers was the director of the Dutch Brain Institute from 1909-1946. Very rare with dedication.
