Hamilton Mabie (1846-1916) was an American essayist, editor, critic and lecturer. He was editor of the Christian Union (The Outlook). Inscribed by the author on half-title of volumes one: "To my generous reader, a very grateful author sends in Christmas greeting. Hamilton W. Mabie. Dec. 1898." Very good clean two volume set of his writings. Signed by Author(s).
