Foyles sticker to front pastedown and slightly dust-darkened top text-blocj edge only faults - black cloth covers clean and undamaged; unclipped jacket in protective sleeve as acquired appears to have slightly darkened edges, though front fore-edge a little worse, and various nicks & edge-rubbings, older-style sleeve difficult to remove for closer inspection but otherwise seems fairly clean, text on front of some interest. Quite scarce with jacket. Scripture was an important pioneer of American experimental psychology, but changed tack after an academic row, becoming Professor of Experimental Phonetics in Vienna.
