First Edition
Paperback. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Melbourne, B.H. and B.J. Baker, 1965 to 1967. Quarto, 23 issues, each containing 24 pages with numerous illustrations. Two-colour pictorial wrappers; minimal signs of age and use; overall, in excellent condition. A satirical magazine that might best be categorized in library-speak as 'Australian wit and humour | Australian wit and humour, Pictorial | Photography of women'. This set lacks only Number 1 (September 1965), Number 3 (November 1965), and Number 8 (May 1966) for completeness. Number 4 is the 'Holiday Issue' for December 1965/ January 1966. Offered together with a sister-publication (so to speak), 'It's a Woman's World' ('An eye-opening collection of hilariously-captioned photographs including the best of "Tom Thumb" magazine's popular monthly features'). Undated, but the cover price of 40c indicates it was published not before 14 February 1966. [24 items].
