Front endpage is stained, as pictured. Text is otherwise unmarked with b/w and color illustrations, some that fold out. Binding is tight with hinges securely attached. Red cloth boards are pointed with gilt lettering. Jacket is unclipped but has seen much better days, sporting heavy shelf wear, tatty and ripped outer layer lamination, and scraped surfaces. Upper crown is chipped. Still, a good reading copy.
