VG cond. Flaws: spine edges are lightly bumped and rubbed (no chipping). Four corners are very slightly rubbed. Pastedowns have very light toning with NO foxing. NO other flaws. Includes John C. Winston book advertising on last page. Inscribed by Author(s).

Flaws: light bumping to top spine edge only - gutters have short tears but very secure - vaguely apparent dampstain to rear board and spine tail is lightly rubbed. Very solid and tight binding. Inscribed by the author to his friend and fellow socialist Esther Yarnell with her very tastefull bookplate on the f.p.d. (Esther Lea Yarnell was a socialist, teacher and poet who was politically active in the labor movement in Los Angeles during the first two decades of the 20th century).Uncommon to be sure.
