Not located in "Dodgson at Auction" David George Ritchie (1853-1903) was a Scottish philosopher who was a fellow of Jesus College, Oxford before becoming a tutor at Balliol College. in 1894 he left Oxford having been elected Professor of Logic and Metaphysics at St. Andrews.
