Rilegato. Condition: come nuovo. colori (illustrator). prima edizione. Testi in italino e inglese.

Jahrtausend v. Chr. erheblich erweitert. // 2 original hardcovers in dust jackets and 2 original softcovers. Clean books in good condition. Books from a non smoking environment. This copy comes from the library of Walter W. Müller, Professor of Semitic Studies at the Philipps University of Marburg. As Walter W. Müller writes in his review (among other things included in the volumes), the renowned Italian archaeologist Anati was prepared, like hardly anyone else, through his investigations of prehistoric images in Asia and Europe, to work on the rock carvings that the Philby-Ryckmans-Lippens expedition recorded in 1951/52 on their over 5000 km long route through the Arabian Peninsula: 232 negatives of around 200 rock carvings in which almost 3000 figures are depicted. This extended the knowledge of the history of Arabia up to the 5th millennium BC significantly. Sprache: Englisch 2 Original--Leinenbände mit Schutzumschlägen und 2 Original-Broschuren.

Japanese First Edition. Translated by Mukai Hiroo. 69pp, 19.5 x 14 cm, dustjacket and original paper band a trifle worn and soiled, light browning endpapers and edges, but still a good copy of the Japanese first edition. The Eye of the Storm was published in Australia in 1973, the year that Patrick White was awarded the Nobel Prize in literature. The following year the novel was published in Japanese. White's Nobel Prize created an awareness of Australian literature in Japan which had not been present prior to this.
