Hbk, oblong 4to, quarter cloth over decorated paper-covered boards, 72pp, full-page color illustr throughout, covers shelfworn, rubbed at extremities and lightly soiled with a prev owner's name faintly inked at the top front, the boards loosening from text and in need of stabilization but text itself is tight, endpapers are wrinkled and torn, 1 plate ('The Tiger') has a single horizontal tear, but overall this is a good and internally bright and clean copy and a very good candidate for restoration.

The blank rear of the full page colour illustration and the illustrations are not numbered but are part of the 72 pages. The illustrations are black/white with some colour printing. Lord Alfred Bruce Douglas (son of the Marquess of Queensberry) was a British poet, journalist but best known as the lover of Oscar Wilde. Size: 22 x 28cm Apporx.
