Signed, dedicated and dated by the author (Michael Hoare From Margaret November 1945) in black ink directly to front end-paper. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, few small (approx. 1cm) tears, browning (including to spine), few marks, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine), the odd small crease/rub to edges, little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, minor pushing/bumping to corners, little patchy browning/odd small mark to front/back inner flaps and is in only fair condition. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners, the odd small bump, odd small mark and very minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Rough cut page edges and bottoms. Pages slightly tanned. Inside boards/end-papers little tanned with the odd small mark/spots of foxing. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted. Signed by Author(s).
