The book is pristine with brown boards and blue spine. Picture of a fox is stamped on the brown front board. No The dust jacket is good with several very short tears along the top; no part of the DJ is missing and is protected with an archival cover. Winner of the Dutton Animal Book Award 1967 is printed on the DJ cover. Mannix also penned All Creatures Great and Small. Disney made the book into an animated film in 1981.
