Soft cover. Condition: Good. Each book in the four book set looks really nice. The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Ring have some creases and small tears on the bottom of the spine. The Two Towers and The Return of the King are in very good condition. The slipcase doesn't look very nice because it's faded, has shelf wear, chips around the edges and is scuffed and mottled.
