This copy is inscribed by Juster to the founder of a literacy nonprofit -- "Lovely to be one of your books" -- and is also signed by Feiffer. Slight spine lean; small spot to upper spine; possible pencil markings at the lower edge of the text block. Still a near fine copy in a good, supplied, price-clipped dust jacket with internal and external tape repairs. Unless otherwise noted, our first editions are first printings.

There, he acquires two faithful companions and goes on a quest to restore to the kingdom its exiled princesses named Rhyme and Reason from the Castle in the Air. In the process, he learns valuable lessons, finding a love of learning.
