Black and white cartoon photographs illustrate the text. Frontispiece formal photograph of Bruno Walter. Text translated from the German by James A. Galston./Bruno Walter (born Schlesinger) 1876Ğ1962 was a German-born conductor, pianist, and composer. Born in Berlin, he escaped Nazi Germany in 1933, was naturalised as a French citizen in 1938, and settled in the United States in 1939. Very good indeed in very good dust jacket. Dust jacket very slight edge wear but protected by a clear sleeve.
