    Hardcover. Condition: Good+. First Edition. Oblong Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 192 pages; 1882 John J. Hood, Philadelphia. HC in small oblong 8vo format. Decoratively title lettered boards indicate the M. E. Book Room and J. H. Black of Harrisburg in a panel along the bottom edge. Scarce Methodist song book for use in Sunday Schools and musical instruction. Decorative paper boards with publisher issued red cloth backstrip. Rear board has some chipping and loss to the paper over board at the spine edge. Binding remains sound though the front free endpage has been removed and the binding is somewhat shaken in the spine. Partial splits in the endpage gutters with crash exposed. Prior ownership in manuscript to the front free endpage. G++ to VG-.
