No Binding. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. This multiple (clock) is hand SIGNED by Tauba Auerbach (she signed with a blue & red marker at the same time to give it that 3-D affect); Published by The Thing Quarterly, CA. 2013; this is Issue 20 which takes the form of a 24-hour wall clock; edition size of the publisher varies from edition to edition and they are mostly unsigned; trade edition 1,500 unnumbered copies; BUT at the 2013 MoMA Fair it appears she only signed approx. 50-65 copies on the back of the clock; "Made entirely in the United States, the clean design of the clock features black aluminum hour and minute hands and Auerbach s 24 gold-hued numerals against a clean white face. The clock measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter, can be hung up with a built-in hook, and is powered by a single AA battery (not included). THE THING and Ms. Auerbach collaborated with New York-based design team Assembly to design and manufacture this issue almost entirely from scratch."; PROVENANCE: singing Saturday, Sept. 21, New York Art Book Fair, MoMA PS1, NYC 2013 (NOTE: not selling the Thing Quarterly poster about the book signing); housed in original clam shell cardboard box; on the front of the clock seems to be a few tiny handling imprints when it was manufactured because it has never been removed from box except for photographing; otherwise in VERY GOOD COND. Signed by Author(s).
