Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Stated "Preliminary Edition". Quarto. 240pp. Printed orange wrappers. Ownership stamp and signature of noted American psychologist and anthropologist Henry Guze, (a founder of the American Academy of Psychotherapists, the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and co-founder of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sex) on the title page, faint crease on front wrap, light overall wear, very good. Published by Scribners a year later, this issue was presumably circulated to scholars for their comments. *OCLC* locates a single copy of this edition, in Germany.
