Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Plates are bright and clear. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Clipped jacket has light edge-wear.

Unclipped jacket has light edge wear with minor tears, chipping and creasing. Surfaces noticeably sunned.
