Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Uneven sunning. Gilt is bright. With original marbled paper covered slipcase which is in unfortunate condition, corners and edges are rubbed, falling apart at the seams. Condition very good plus, spine a little tanned, corners and spine ends slightly rubbed, contents are very clean. An anthology published to celebrate the completion of ten years of broadcasting by the BBC Third Programme. With various contributions from the shows grouped into the categories of Imagination, Argument, Experience and Exposition. "Unlike the standard edition it contains decorations by B. S. Biro" V.S. Pritchett contributes "Maisie" in the Imagination section and "The Artist in Society" along with Graham Greene and Elizabeth Bowen in the Argument section. One of a limited edition of thirteen hundred Tall copies printed on Barcham Green's rag mould-made paper by The Stellar Press. Where the number should be handwritten at the end of the limitation statement (which appears at the end of the book) instead is handwritten "Out of Series" and the word Number is crossed out. One of V. S. Pritchett's own copies, with his small owner's label to the front paste-down, signature in pencil on the front free end-paper and below the pencil signature is inscribed in blue biro; "For Lady Warlby. This playlet here included which I wrote in Parkhill Road. VSP with love" Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Signed by Author(s).
