Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Thirteenth Congress - Second Session. Ex. Doc. No. 59. House of Representatives. Annual Report of the Commissioner of Patents for the Year 1848. Printed in Washington, D.C. by Wendell and Van Benthuysen. 1849. 816 pp. 9" x 6". 8vo. Hardcover full cloth. In good condition, with light scuffing to exteriors, along with bumping to corners. Light shaking to hinges. Text block remains bound well with minor instances of wear. Light markings. Includes an assortment of black-and-white plates at rear, along with foldouts. Small instances of tears to foldouts, along with hold at bottom of first few pages. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce collection of patent reports, with the boards displaying what appears to be the old United States Patent Building.
