Inside each front cover is a book plate - Bath Public Reference Library, but none of the usual lending library stamps. vi, 483 and 552 pages with an index at the rear. Includes an inscription in volume I - 'The Earl of Iddesleigh with the author's respectful compliments, Xmas 1886'. Published as 2nd edition in 1886 both volumes are in very good condition.
