Hardcover. Condition: Good. First edition. Quarto. Illustrated in linoleum block prints by the author. Front gutter cracked, extremities worn and nicked, small stains on boards, a good only copy lacking the dustwrapper if issued. Children's story. Scare, *OCLC* locates no copies.

Boards. Condition: Near Fine. Challis Walker (illustrator). First Edition. The 1940 1st edition, in its uncommon picxtorial dustjacket. Clean and Near Fine in a crisp, price-intact ($1.00), VG+ dustjacket, with very minor soiling at the front panel and very light creasing and chipping --with several tiny closed tears-- along the panel edges. Still though, very presentable. Quarto, wonderfully illustrated throughout in woodcut.
