This play, the first authorized stage adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel, debuted in London in 1924. A revised version opened o…n Broadway in 1927 and is notable as the first English-speaking appearance of Bela Legosi in what would become his iconic turn as Dracula. The 1977 revival of this same American adaptation would earn Edward Gorey a Tony Award for Costume Design. The present ticket is for an early performance of the touring company show, which featured English actor Raymond Huntley in the title role. The Lyric Theatre was formerly B. F.
