Only slight sunning to the books edges keeps this from being as new. Some minor, near invisible surface wear detracts from the jacket. All and all, a superior copy. O"Hara was a leading popular novelist from the 1930's to the1960's. His first book, "Appointment in Samarra", remains highly regarded. I remember reading it as a very young man, probably in the early 60's, struck by the powerful impression it left. As did several others during that period; the 1960's.
