Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. Signed by author to the title page. First edition. No date given but 1983. Fine in d/w. Scarce, particularly signed. This early work of the author had to be withdrawn by its publishers, Wolfhound Press, following the threat of a libel action by lawyers acting for a daughter of an Irish poet. See Maggs catalogue of the Richard Murphy collection where he describes the work as "pulp fiction". Maggs catalogue note reads: "Richard and his daughter Emily were both depicted in the novel; the latter in a particularly unfavourable light. The author's second novel and decidedly scarce due to the book's withdrawal". The novellas have not been reprinted and are only available in this edition. Understandably, the author is reluctant to sign any copies that do come to light. Signed by Author(s).
