A previous owner has sought to perform some internal tape repair to no avail that has only caused some toning to interior of jacket. Signed by Heinlein on the title page, as well as inscribed on the half-title to Frank Chew, who was Vice President Treasurer at Delta airlines until his retirement in 1995. Laid-in are two hand-written letters from Heinlein to Chew, one of which is from Heinlein's personal stationery and dated the year after the book was published, as well as a receipt for the book for $2.75, and related ephemera, including a letter from the Rocket Research Institute, and a charming "Moon Tour Reservation" card from the Science Fiction Book Club.
