Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Not dated but likely 1950s. 224pp. Brown publisher's cloth boards (rounded and worn on corners and spine ends, worn at edges and joints, mildly marked, one soft corner). Lending sheet on front free endpaper, else no other library markings. Internally tape gutter repair to front endpapers, a few marks on well-thumbed pages. In its original, vintage dust jacket (chapped at edges with some loss, spine creased wit loss at base, loss at base on verso). Dust jacket now in archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong the life of the jacket. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. One of the more respected romantic authors of the mid to late 20th century, this title of hers is especially difficult to find now, especially in its original dust jacket, albeit that this one is tatty.
