Books have a bit of crinkling to the heads of the spine and most of the bottom edge of the lower boards have some roughness, which includes tiny chips or pulls. May have been done in binding, given the remaining areas of the books are near fine. The bookshelf box has a bump to a rear upper corner, a little rubbing and creasing to the edges, and a small shadow mark on the front. Reprints of some of a set originally published in the 1940s, with a newly designed book shelf. The box is about 6 by 12 inches and made of thick cardboard. The 36 enclosed books are each about 2 by 3 inches with 24 pages the covers being glossy color illustrated paper over thick cardboard; each book illustrated in full color. The complete set is quite scarce in decent condition. This is the 1964 edition. Box cardboard a bit dented at the right end; light rubbing. Books with light wear. VERY GOOD+.
