Cloth. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Peter Burchard (illustrator). First Edition. A lovely Association copy: WARMLY, AFFECTONATELY INSCRIBED BY MARGARET OTTO TO HER HUSBAND STUART on the front free endpaper. A very sharp copy to boot of the 1955 stated 1st edition. Clean and Near Fine in a crisp, Near Fine dustjacket, with just a touch of light wear along the spine ends and the upper tips, and one tiny chip at the rear panel's bottom-edge. Wonderfully illustrated by Peter Burchard, who also designed the dustjacket. Signed.
