(cover soiled, other leaves a bit soiled in places). Untearable - mounted on cloth. 6 full-page chromolithographs 'in the best style of colour printing' and 4 pages text, printed in brown, with 4 stories in rhyme: "The cross kitten", "The greedy kittens", "The merry kittens", "The frightened kittens". - Information about the author and the first edition (1864) found in the British Library. - In spite of the small imperfections a good copy of a childernbook, printed on linen. 200g.
